The Speaker Life Summit and My Dream of More Women on Stages
When I started Speaker Life, I had a dream that went beyond building a magazine or hosting a great event. I wanted more women with meaningful stories and hard earned expertise to take the stage.
Over the years, I have interviewed remarkable people and watched what happens when the right voice reaches the right room. I have also met women who know their subject inside and out but have not had the introductions, media presence, or opportunity to show an event planner what they can do. I want to help change that.
A stage can introduce a new idea to hundreds of people at once. It can also lead to the next conversation, collaboration, or invitation. Women deserve to be part of those moments. They deserve more than encouragement. They need places to develop a clear message, build relationships, and see what is possible.
That is part of why the Speaker Life Summit means so much to me. On January 21 and 22, 2027, we will gather in North Scottsdale for our ninth annual Summit. Our theme is People, Purpose, Possibility. Over two days, speakers, coaches, entrepreneurs, and the people who help bring their ideas to audiences will come together around it.
I am thrilled to welcome Chris Voss as our guest of honor. Chris has shown people around the world the power of listening and negotiation. Lisa Guerrero, an accomplished journalist, author, and speaker, is another headliner I cannot wait for you to hear. Her courage and command of a story are exactly the kind of presence I want more women to see on a stage.
They will be joined by an extraordinary group, including speaker agent Chris Lee, TEDx coach Cesar Cervantes, Dave Sanderson, Nick Hutchison, Matt Leitz, Willa Kammerer, and Bruce Cardenas. I will be hosting, and we are planning some amazing surprises that I am excited to share when the time is right.
You will hear from accomplished people. You will also have the chance to meet them, sharpen your message, and connect with others who understand the work behind a speaking career. I want you to leave with useful ideas and relationships you can keep building long after the Summit ends.
My dream of seeing more women on stages is still a work in progress. I do not want to pretend one event solves it. But every time a woman sees someone like herself holding the room, shares her idea, or makes a connection that opens a door, we move closer.
If you have been waiting to feel ready, come join us. Bring your story, your questions, and your ambition. There is room for you in this conversation.
